A new release that was produced from a 40 year old vineyard in Wandin Yallock this is somewhat of a rarity in the Yarra Valley. The nose has a touch of funk with a lanolin note to citrus fruits. The palate has an impressive texture afforded by residual sugar left in the wine being cut through by bristling lime inspired acidity and crunchy granny smith apple, there are some notes of mandarin and fleshier citrus fruits to finish.
