2019 d’Arenberg Dry Dam Riesling
Wine Rating

90
A blend of grapes from McLaren Vale and Adelaide Hills and as usual there is some very clever winemaking on show that lifts from an everyday quaffer to a wine with genuine interest and a future ahead in the cellar.

Light yellow with a fleck if green, the nose has candied lime and mandarin. The palate is driven by slate like acidity that is bristling with green apple and citrus fruits, residual sugar is masterfully handled and softened the palate but doesn’t take over. The finish is all about the lime fruit with a lingering chalky finish.
