Review Detail
2019 Frankland Estate Riesling
Wine Rating
94
A producer that helped to put WA on the map when it comes to Riesling, there is a tension and energy to the wine, but not at the expense of fruit or texture.
There is piercingly fresh and pure lime that meets wet slate and lifted lemon blossom on the nose. The palate gives lemon curd with floral, jasmine tones. There is a lovely interplay between racy acidity and fruit with the finish having a chalkiness that is etched with citrus and has you coming back for another sip.
