2012 Longview Boatshed Nebbiolo Rose
Wine Rating
92
A burnt orange to pink in colour, the nose has depth and richness with strawberry jam and cream aromas.
The palate is layered and soft on entry, with grippy acidity providing texture on the mid to back palate, in terms of flavours the wine has savoury cherry, some citrus notes and an undertone of musk and spice.
Increasingly Italian varietals are being used in Australian Rose's, and it's not hard to see why.
