2018 Gundog Estate Indomitus Rosa

Produced from Nebbiolo sourced in the Hilltops region, the wine was kept on skins for 12 hours prior to being pressed to older oak and aged on lees for 4 months. This isn’t your typical rose, some very attentive wine making has created a wine that carries the flavours of variety from which it was made, but also has the youthful crunch you expect from the style.

A pretty salmon Pink in colour with a nose that enjoys red apple, wild strawberry and a background note of smoked fennel. The palate is full bodied with a density of cherry fruit that enjoys subtle tar and rose flavours; crunchy pink lady apple gives texture to the mid palate with an expansive melange of red berry fruits and citrus flare to finish.
