A blend of Sangiovese (55%), Shiraz (35%) and Cinsualt (10%) and also the owner of one of the most unique wine names in Australia - a title which d’Arenberg may have a monopoly on !
An orange to pink in colour with a vibrant nose that has strawberry and raspberry fruit that is cut with Meyer lemon, the palate has a drying almost saline thread of acidity from which red cherry and rhubarb combine with red apple and a twist of lemon. The faintest amount of residual sugar helps to fill out the finish. Great value.
