A light to burnt orange in the glass, the nose gives spiced red apple and citrus fruits. The palate reveals a full bodied wine with a continuation of red apple, that mixes with wild strawberry and dominates the palate, citrus pulls things in with a slight textural bitterness to finish. The fruit vs acid does give a sweet and sour like texture on the palate that goes well with food, but harder going when by itself.
