Review Detail
2013 Logan Apple Tree Flat Rose
Wine Rating
90
I recently tasted through the Logan Weemala range and thought they were tremendous value for money, I then tried the Apple Tree Flat Rose, and at $13 a bottle is an impeccably priced and drinkable wine.
A light salmon to burnt orange in colour, the nose gives delicate strawberry and red berry aromas, with the palate showing textural and creamy strawberry fruit, with a fine line of acid and red apple characters. The wine finishes with soft rounded red fruits, a slightly savoury kick and just the right amount of acid to provide a burst of freshness to finish. Summer here we come !
