2014 Pike & Joyce ‘The Bleedings’ Pinot Noir Rose
Wine Rating

91
On the Rose spectrum the Pike & Joyce example shows plenty of the constituent grape in terms of flavour and texture. The wine is a salmon red in colour with a little bit of funky complexity that adds to the wine. It is a generally dry rose with a touch of fruit sweetness expressed through dark red cherry fruit. There is crunchy acidity and a little savoury flare that sees this wine being great on it’s own, but also capable of matching it on the dinner table.

A bargain at $18.
