Wine Rating

The Auburn Hills range is produced by Mitchell of the Clare Valley, the wines in the range include Rose, Riesling and Shiraz.

A beautiful salmon to pink hue in the glass, the nose has wild strawberry and cherry fruit with an etching of red apple somewhere in the background.

A generous style that isn’t shy with primary fruit, but has the tannin and acid profile to keep things in balance. There is a sweetness of cherry fruit that is met by citrus acidity and chalky tannins in equal measure, making this a wine that both stands on it’s own but has the structure to work well with an array of foods.

The finish sees a return of fruit sweetness that is corralled by a savoury note and citrus.
