2017 Gundog Estate Rose
Wine Rating

92
A light pink, almost fairy floss like colour in the glass, the wine is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz grown from three different vineyards in Canberra District.

The nose gives fresh red cherry with flashes wild strawberry. The palate has curves in all the right places, there is a plushness of red cherry fruit before a fine weave of tannin adds savoury character that's accentuated by a lithe line of acidity. The finish sees a return of juicy cherry fruits with a peppery note that lingers.

It’s ready to please the crowds this summer.
