Review Detail
2017 Liv Zak Rose
Wine Rating
91
This is a well put together rose that has a youthful crunch, but clever winemaking and some time on lees has given texture and mouthfeel. The wine is made from Pinot Noir and gives a pretty orange to pink in the glass. The nose has red apple and wild strawberry that is stitched together by a citrus thread.
The palate meets you with crunchy pink lady apple that has a twang of citrus before a build of wild cherry. The finish has some mealy like richness that adds fullness before a zippy line of acidity frames the finish.
A nice, balanced package.
