Review Detail
2018 Oakridge Yarra Valley Rose
Wine Rating
95
A blend of Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Pinot Gris, this is one serious rose that enjoyed its time in old oak and on lees. It’s crunchy, yet svelte with complexity you don’t always expect from the style. On the palate there is strawberry and potpourri set against a drying citrus laden backdrop; restrained pear kicks in on the back palate before a gentle twist of ginger spice to finish. An irresistible rose.
