Review Detail

The wine was made by Jo Marsh at Billy Button with Shiraz grapes sourced from the Con Mara vineyard. A light salmon in colour with a sweetly fruited nose of wild strawberry and some rose petals. The palate is rich and expansive with broad brush strokes of red fruit that enjoys an understated citrus backdrop that does well to keep things balanced. The finish has more of a savoury kick and rhubarb fruit and plenty of texture. Definitely an interesting drink that will age for a few more years yet.
