2017 Terre a Terre Down to Earth Sauvignon Blanc

Terre a Terre produce some of the most interesting Sauvignon Blanc’s in South Australia. The wines maintain the purity of tropical fruits, but time on lees and in barrel gives texture and the most subtle of savoury flare.

The wine is medium bodied with baked pineapple and understated boysenberry joined in concert by meyer lemon. There is an enjoyable interplay between the wines richer fruit derived notes, racy acidity and lees induced texture that coats the mouth. Great length to finish, with the wine sure to develop over the shorter term.
