Punchy and interesting, pretty much the catch cry for the Airlie Bank range from Punt Road. There are some tropical and herbaceous notes that one expects on the nose, but with a twist of granny smith apple. The palate is crunchy and textural and rather getting caught up in tropical fruits enjoys a continuation of granny smith with some citrus and understated gooseberry tones. A wine that more Semillon in terms of acid structure and defined by it’s youthfulness. Perfect for seafood or spice.
