Review Detail
2012 Domaine de L'Aumonier Sauvignon Blanc de Touraine
Wine Rating
93
A great expression of Loire Sauvignon, a lightly golden yellow in colour, the nose is a restrained and savoury expression of boysenberry lemon pith and cut grass.
This wine has texture in spades, the mineral acid structure works well against the citrus and more tropical fruits , the finish is long and herbaceous with a line acid that keeps you coming back for more.
A wonderfully refreshing, food friendly wine to give NZ a run for its money.
