Sauvignon Blanc June 29, 2014
2013 Cosmo Yarra Valley Sauvignon Blanc
Wine Rating
A light yellow in the glass, this wine is made from grapes sourced for Woori Yallock, which is a cooler site in the Yarra Valley. The wine shows the benefits of barrel ferment and the addition of reserve based material, with the wine fresh and aromatic, but having textural appeal and depth.

The nose gives tropical characters of melon and a touch of guava, the palate is rounded and soft on entry and seamlessly transitions from sweeter tropical fruits to a more savoury and grippy expression. There are citrus and grapefruit notes that give texture and a fine line of acidity to finish.
