Review Detail
2016 Lou Miranda Leone Sauvignon Blanc
Wine Rating
90
Light yellow with a fleck of green in the glass, the nose is true to the variety with an intensity of citrus fruits that is backed by tropical notes and a herbaceous, grassy edge.
The palate is framed around the wines more savoury and herbaceous characters which creates a wine that is more about structure and presence than varietal primary fruits, there is a lemon / lime character that works in well amongst baked passionfruit before the finish gives drying and satisfying length of cut grass and gooseberry.
