Review Detail
2016 Six Acres Sauvignon Blanc
Wine Rating
88
This wine has had plenty of winemaker derived complexity, foot stomped and left on lees for 24 hours before basket pressing. The nose shows savory edged passionfruit and paw paw with leesy, funky complexity and a bit of varnish. A reductive wine with a softness across the palate that showcases tropical fruit , the finish is drying and textural with touches of grapefruit and residual funk !
This is not your every day Sauvignon Blanc.
