Sauvignon Blanc from the Orange region continues to make a great impression, with this release a good example of what the variety can do in the region.
A light yellow with a fleck of green in the glass, the nose combines musk, citrus blossom and touches of slate that moves to a mouth filling palate that has fleshy citrus notes that get pulled back into line by racy acidity and layered herbs.
The finish is drying, with a grapefruit like textural twist alongside just ripe melon and fresh herbs.
