Review Detail
2016 Pertaringa Sauvignon Blanc
Wine Rating
89
Sourced from the Adelaide Zone and having an ever so light yellow colour in the glass. The nose gives distinctive boysenberry with touches of citrus and slate. There is plenty of texture on the palate with a grapefruit like kick that does well to give another dimension to the palate, however it treads a fine line between enhancing texture and one that impacts the pristine tropical notes the varietal is known for.
The finish has a melange of tropical fruits and unripe green melon.
