Wine Rating

Whole bunch pressed with only free run juice barrel fermented in 30% new and 70% older oak for 8 months. The resultant wine was worth the effort, but needs more time to really come into it’s own.

An ever so light yellow in the glass with herbaceous notes that range from cut grass to gooseberry on the nose with backing of lemon and understated asparagus.

There is a lemony acidity that runs from start to finish that gives vibrance and presence with underripe pear peppered with oak spice and crushed herbs. The length is substantial.

This is a very serious wine that will reward more time.
