Review Detail
2017 d’Arenberg The Broken Fishplate Sauvignon Blanc
Wine Rating
90
The wine has benefited from a little time on older oak, but is undeniably sauvignon blanc and fruit driven.
A very light yellow in the glass with a piercingly herbaceous nose that’s backed by guava, passionfruit and pine needles. A precise palate with scintillating acidity, there is an understated tropical thread that’s framed by baked passionfruit. Citrus flare frames the finish, with good length.
