Review Detail
2017 Omrah Crossing Sauvignon Blanc
Wine Rating
86
The nose shows well with tropical passionfruit and gooseberry that's joined by floral white flowers.
Acidity is crunchy and gives a chalkiness to the wine that accentuates the fine citrus lines and green apple notes but suppress the more typical tropical notes you would expect to see on the palate. There is a grapefruit like twang and overpowering acidity to finish that throws things out of balance.
