Review Detail
Sauvignon Blanc
May 20, 2011
2010 Montara Sauvignon Blanc
Wine Rating
90
Light in colour with a slight green tinge in the glass, the nose is focused with cut grass and restrained tropical fruits.
The palate is elegant and understated, with an excellent mineral acidity that runs throughout combining with light tropical fruit flavours. The wine finishes with pleasing acidity and good length, and is an example of a Sauvignon Blanc where less is more.
