2010 Peter Lehmann Margaret Semillon
Wine Rating
94
Semillon is often a forgotten variety in the Barossa, with the Margaret a perennial pleaser that is released after a few years in the bottle.
The wine itself is a straw yellow in colour with a nose of lanolin, lime zest and fresh toast. The palate has a gentle baseline of citrus with green edged fig that is supported by flinty richness and candied lime. A delicious and easy to drink wine that will develop for many years to come.
