This is the most impressive of what is a stellar lineup of 2014 single vineyard Semillon releases from Gundog Estate. The wine has piercing varietal expression with lime and slate on the nose. The palate has a flowing, but mineral acidity that has ample concentration of what is still tightly bound fruit. A wine that gives enjoyment now, but will be an exemplar to the variety and region in years to come.
