It takes a lot of skill to make a wine like this, it’s wild by name but not by nature. There were indigenous yeasts, time on skins and an off dry finish but the resultant wine has a floral prettiness to and all the contours in the right places.

The nose gives jasmine and candied lime with the faintest touch of lanolin. The balance between acidity and residual sugar is handled beautifully with a seamless interplay that is met in the middle by a fullness of citrus fruits. There is a slight mealy texture that gives generosity to the finish with lemony slate a lasting impression.
