Straw yellow in colour, the nose has tropical fruits and gooseberry, the palate is soft and well rounded with passion fruit and melon evident, there is a lemony acidity towards the finish, however the wine is lacking persistence in the mid to back palate, as well as the the acidity to underwrite long term cellaring.
