2010 Condie Estate Shiraz Viognier

A deep red in colour that is slightly lighter towards the rim.

The nose is highly aromatic and melds dried apricot from the co-fermented Viognier with meatier red fruits from the Shiraz.

The palate is focused and driven with balanced tannin and acid structure throughout that underwrites excellent cellaring potential.

The wine has spiced plum and dark cherry on entry with floral Viognier inputs adding richness, delicate spice and subtle oak characters develop across the palate.

The finish lingers in the mouth with dense primary fruits and a slight floral lift; the 2010 Shiraz Viognier is a feminine yet powerful wine.
