Shiraz Blend January 28, 2014
2010 Passing Clouds Graeme's Blend
Wine Rating

90
The wine is a Shiraz dominant blend from the Bendigo region which consists of 60 % Shiraz and 40 % Cabernet Sauvignon

The wine is a medium to dark red in colour, the nose is primary and restrained with withdrawn dark fruits and pencil shaving oak that needs time.

The palate is tightly bound with blackcurrant and firm drying tannins, dark chocolate adds some contrast, french oak gives an ever so slight vanillin lift; the acid is well and truly framing. The length is considerable but it needs a good 10 years to unravel and soften.
