2011 Wild Duck Creek Yellow Hammer Hill Shiraz Malbec
Wine Rating

92
A good colour that belies the vintage, the nose is complex with redcurrant, sour edged cherry and a touch of subtle mint. The wine has good structure with well integrated oak at is sully core. It’s lean, mineral and grainy but with sufficient dark fruits to support and add another dimension to what is a textural wine. The finish has good length with black pepper and spice.
