Review Detail
2007 The Lane Vineyard Shiraz Viognier
Wine Rating
86
A medium red, becoming dull towards the rim, the nose shows overt floral characters and meatiness. The palate shows a wine of two halves, initially a full and plush mouthfeel that centres on plum and rhubarb, after which it falls apart with a distinct gap in the mid palate. The tannins are hard, with acidity prominent on the finish.
