A nose that shows a nice dusting of spice to go along with savoury dark berry fruits and a touch of iodine.
The palate is supple and fruit driven, it shows attractive dark plum against graphite and brambly red fruits. There is alcohol warmth that is a detractor from the finish and makes the wine a little one dimensional and confected.
