Review Detail

2012 Lou Miranda Estate Old Vine Shiraz Mourvedre
Wine Rating

95
The flagship wine of Lou Miranda, with grapes taken from the Angel’s vineyard which was planted in 1897. A deep and inky dark red in the glass, the nose gives fruit cake and milk chocolate to deeply seated plum fruits. The palate is silky and expressive, yet has the spice and textural balance to maintain it’s elegance and fruit driven length. The finish is expansive and satisfying with spiced dark fruits and lashings of oak.

A flagship wine for the Lou Miranda that is worthy of it's status.
