Review Detail
2011 d’Arenberg Laughing Magpie Shiraz Viognier
Wine Rating
88
An attractive nose that gives smokey plum fruit with a slight aromatic lift from the inclusion of Viognier. The palate is fairly straight up and down with lightly spiced dark fruits, but lacks complexity, there are herbaceous notes that do provide interest towards the finish but not enough to set this wine apart from the pack.
