Review Detail
2015 Terre a Terre Rouge
Wine Rating
94
A blend of Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc that gives a youthful but dark red in the glass. The nose is the sum of all parts with dark plum backed by blackberry bud, a touch of sweeter french oak and earth.
A tightly bound core of bay leaf and earth laden dark fruits give impressive structure. Oak adds a subtle richness with black fruits slowly growing in stature as dark chocolate adds another layer of depth. The finish is a drying, earthen and an impressively long expression of brambly blackberry fruit.
This will last for a long time.
