Review Detail

2008 John Duval 'Plexus' Shiraz Grenache Mourvedre
Wine Rating

92
Crimson red in the glass, the nose is showing ripe red fruits, the palate has great complexity with layers of cherry and plum that continue to evolve towards the mid to back palate where they integrate well with the quality oak to add another dimension and richness to the wine. The finish shows excellent length and a tannin structure that will hold the wine in good stead even when the primary fruits fade.
