Review Detail
2014 d’Arenberg d’arre’s Original Shiraz Grenache
Wine Rating
91
A 2014 release at $18, it amazes me how d’Arenberg can do it. The nose gives dark cherry, plum and rhubarb with lifted baking spice. A brooding core of dark fruits is supported by red cherry and dark chocolate. Tannins are drying and have an earthen note. There is a density of drying dark fruits to finish.
Give this a decade, incredible value.
