2017 Erin Eyes Stone of Destiny Shiraz Malbec
Wine Rating

95
An intriguing and beguiling red, this is an excellent Clare Valley release that shows the balance and interest that can be found with Malbec and Shiraz. The wine is a youthfully inky black with purple hues. The nose is layered with blue and black fruits and a childhood aromatic of cherry hubba bubbaa.

Luxurious and supple are the appropriate descriptors for the palate, however it is set against a backdrop of coursing black cherry and blueberry fruits. Tannins are laden with cocoa and embellishments of oak derived spice. The length to finish is impressive.
