Review Detail

An inky, almost impenetrable red in the glass with a concentrated and detailed nose of bitter dark plum, blackberry and coffee grinds. The palate has a formidable baseline of tannin with dark berry fruits that fill every corner of the mouth and contrast is provided by brighter cherry fruit. There is a weave of spice and unsweetened liquorice that leads to a finish that is shows impressive length of drying black fruits that underwrites a long term cellaring proposition.
