Review Detail
2017 Hobbs Shiraz Viognier Tango
Wine Rating
97
A pretty yet impactful wine with rich plum fruit joined by leather and a faint floral lift on the nose. Plum has a savoury and moreish edge with undergrowth and layers of gentle spice on the palate. Tannins are supportive and give graphite and cocoa before being joined by old leather, plum and sweet spice. The finish is beautifully balanced with fruit, understated oak, bramble and earth combining with significant length. A quite remarkable wine.
