The nose has drying plum and blackberry fruit with a touch of earth; the palate is light to medium bodied with a savoury core of drying tannin; fruit tends more to blackberry and there is a bitter dark chocolate influence to finish. A drink now proposition as the fruit may not carry the wines savoury influences over time.
