An enjoyable take on an Australian Classic, the nose is ripe and brimming with sweet plum and blackberry; the palate has textured acidity and a savoury edge to tannins that balanced the wines riper fruit influence. There is a touch of graphite and old leather on the mid palate before the finish enjoys length with the influence of both fruit and oak.
