Review Detail
2009 Glaetzer Wallace Shiraz Grenache
Wine Rating
93
Crimson to full red in colour the nose shows spiced cherry and cedary oak characters.
The wine has excellent balance on the palate with cherry and plum gaining complexity as they integrate with charry oak, cinnamon spice and a richer vein of dark chocolate.
The acidity and tannins are firm and provide good textural contrasts on the palate, underwriting a medium term cellaring potential.
