A wine that has been under screw cap for close to 20 years, with the virtues of the closure ringing true. The nose still has a semblance of dark fruits that meld with leather, sweet earth and the remnants of vanillin American oak. The palate is fully mature but retains drive of acidity and fully resolved tannins. The wine is all about texture and the aged complexity that is part fruit and oak before a continuation of the secondary earthen and leathery influences seen in the nose.

Shows the pedigree of the producer and there are no signs of falling over any time soon.
