A very dark red to black in colour, the nose has stewed plum and dark cherry that continues on the front palate and is amply supported by fine drying tannins, the mid palate hits a flat spot with the ripeness of the fruit taking over, if only for a moment. The finish compensates with balanced spice, dark chocolate and cedary oak integration.
