The wine is a deep red in the glass, and from the outset you see characteristic pepper on the nose that one comes to expect from Grampians Shiraz, in this instance the pepper combines with tight blackberry fruit.
The wine has good structure that is framed by firm tannins and supporting oak, the palate is long and concentrated with spicy blackberry and plum that is aided by some richer dark chocolate elements on the back palate.
The finish has good length.
