The nose is rich and opulent with blackberry, a wisp of blueberry and sweet oak influences. The palate is mouth filling and luxurious with an array of dark fruits and cassis / licorice flavours on the palate, the high proportion of new oak is evident, however the concentrated fruit and well managed acidity ensures the wine remains vibrant and fresh.
An exceptional RWT that is approachable now, and will effortlessly reward another 10 years in the cellar.
